Bader Alam is a Senior Vice President at CAVU with over 15 years of principal investing experience focusing on growth equity and middle market transactions primarily in the consumer sector. At CAVU, Bader was responsible for sourcing and leading the investment in Vital Proteins, the leading collagen nutrition brand platform. In addition, Bader serves as a board advisor to several other companies including Waterloo Sparkling Water, ONE Bar, REBBL beverages, Austin Eastciders, High Brew Coffee, Nulo pet food and johnnie-O apparel.
Prior to joining CAVU, Bader was a Vice President at Bespoke Capital Partners, a private equity firm focused on investments in the consumer, leisure and related sectors. While at Bespoke, Bader took on an operational role as interim CFO of portfolio company Vinventions, the largest manufacturer of wine corks in the world. Earlier in his career, Bader held private equity roles at Beekman Investment Partners, Arcapita and Bruckmann, Rosser, Sherrill (BRS). Before entering the private equity industry, Bader was an investment banking analyst in the Consumer/Retail Group at Credit Suisse and a strategy analyst at The Home Depot. Bader holds a B.B.A. with Distinction from Emory University and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
