Mr. Jackson began his career in the retail food industry over 40 years ago stocking groceries in a local market.
Early in his career, Mr. Jackson became an expert in international Cheese and Specialty foods and became the first Specialty Coordinator for Whole Foods Market in 1996.
He eventually went on to hold Vice President roles for both the Northern California and Pacific Northwest Regions before departing in 2009.
In 2010, as the COO, Mr. Jackson led a group of Executives in the turnaround of the Bay Area chain, Andronico’s Community Markets.
Since then, he has held various roles from Vice President of Program Innovation at Haggen to Chief Merchandising Officer for Earth Fare based in Asheville, North Carolina.
Mr. Jackson joined Jimbo’s in May of 2018 as the Chief Operating Officer. His belief in the core principle of doing the right thing and focusing on exceptionalism in food-as well as people-have served as a guiding light in his short tenure supporting the remarkable Jimbo’s Team!
