Phil is a Food Entrepreneur known for founding, building and transitioning Phil’s Fresh Foods into the frozen foods brand, EVOL, where he built and lead the EVOL Brand and team – including several rounds of financing and the company’s sale to Boulder Brands (NASDAQ: BDBD) in ‘13. He held numerous posts at Boulder including SVP of Frozen Foods, Chief Innovation Officer, Chief Commercial Officer and Interim General Manager reporting to Enterprise Pinnacle Foods (NYSE:PF) post-acquisition. Phil’s passion is in general management, entrepreneurship, and innovation, and he has more than 15 years of experience in food manufacturing, marketing, sales, distribution, finance and strategic planning. Phil is a long-time culinary enthusiast and creative innovator who successfully grew one of the most compelling challenger brands found in the market today.
Since leaving Pinnacle Foods in June of ‘16, Phil has been doing some light advisory work, but mostly spending quality time with his family in Boulder, where they live and enjoy being outside as much as possible.
